Remove Boat Scuffs Easily

get rid of boat scuffs

One of the biggest pains of owning a boat is how often it gets scuffed up. Whether you hit the side of it against the dock while parking or your cooler rubs against a seat cushion and leaves a mark, trying to remove boat scuffs be almost impossible if just using soap and water. It can also be very expensive if you hire a detailing company to come remove the scuffs. Fortunately, you don’t need to do either of these things because of this awesome product: Better Boat Premium Boat Scuff Erasers

These things are literally Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, but for boats. I keep these on standby on my boat to remove any mark or scuff that may happen while I’m out on the water. You are wasting your time if you are using a towel with soap and water to try to clean your boat. Apply some water to the boat erasers and put some elbow grease behind it and you can remove 95% of all scuffs and marks with this product.

Versatility

The Better Boat Premium Boat Scuff Erasers work on basically every part of your boat, and I know this first hand because I have used them everywhere. I have removed marks on the exterior of my boat, on the interior fiberglass, from the console, and even on the seat cushions. These erasers will remove grease, mud, scum, and almost any scuffs, and I swear it will leave your boat looking as good as new.

No Harm to Your Boat

These erasing sponges do not contain any bleach or other harsh chemicals to assist in their cleaning. Excluding these chemicals from your boat maintenance is so important to keeping a healthy and good looking boat. Cleaning doesn’t get much easier than these erasers. All you need to do is add water to the sponge and then squeeze to activate it. Then start rubbing it on any mark you wish to remove. The only other ingredient you will need is a little elbow grease, then boom, the applied area looks brand new.

Pro Tip

If you are going to buy these, buy a healthy amount of them. The 12 pack I linked in the opening paragraph is a good place to start. These are a great and cheap option to detailing your boat; the only downside is that you can burn through a lot of them. When I get tough stains on my boat I really have to push down hard on the eraser to get it out. After all that scrubbing the thing is pretty much destroyed. I will probably go through about 3 erasers after every boating trip, which equates to about $8. This is still insanely cheap when you consider the alternatives.
